Guestbook Posts

Posts on the guestbook of an obituary can easily be accessed by website admins to make changes.

Website admins have control to edit, delete and make approvals on guestbook posts. When you are signed into the website, navigate to the obituary you want to view posts on and click the Tribute Wall tab on the obituary page.

Posts on the wall will show options to edit, delete or block poster.

After clicking edit, the edit guestbook window will allow you to make changes to the name and email of the poster along with the ability to edit the message or image of the post.

If you repeatedly receive unwanted posts from specific users, click the "Block Poster" button to prevent them from sending additional posts. This works by blocking their specific IP and Email addresses. Posters will not be told that they are blocked; their messages will simply be disregarded by the website.

If a post is still pending approval, you will see a blue approve button. Simply click this button to approve the post. Once a post is approved it will display on the guestbook for visitors on the page to see.

Posts pending approvals can also be viewed from "Items Requiring Approval" page. To navigate to this page, click the green add button at the top of the website and select "Items Requiring Approval". A number will display in red over this button to indicate how many approvals are pending.

Options will be available on the next page to edit, delete or approve the post along with an option to block the poster if needed.
