Cemetery Module (CIMS)
The Cemetery module is used for help tracking what spaces are open, reserved, or in use throughout the cemeteries that you work with.
The Cemetery Module is located on the MiMS Main Menu and is divided into 2 areas: The Space Setup area and the Reservation area.
**This module is not initially available; it must be enabled before this area can be worked with.
Space Setup Area
The Space Setup area is where the layout of the cemetery or cemeteries you work with is covered.

When first entering the Space Setup area you will want to select the Cemetery to work with from the “Select Cemetery” drop-down.
**Any cemetery that already has part of the layout setup is colored in blue.
After selecting the cemetery you want to work with the layout of the cemetery will display on the left most area. You may now build or expand on the cemetery layout as desired.
To gather statistical information about any part of the cemetery use the Summary area located below the “Select Cemetery” drop-down.
The Google Maps button is used for helping to link the cemetery area to a Google map that exists for the cemetery.

The Space Information area will give you specific information about any given selected space.
Tree Creator
The button called “Generate Cemetery Items” takes you to an area to auto create / update any existing cemetery layout for you.

The tree creator area is divided into 4 tabs to select what areas of the cemetery to create or expand onto.
Section Tab: This is the default tab. All you do on this tab is use the Part 1 and Part 2 boxes to choose how you would like to name the cemetery sections.
Block Tab: This you choose how to name you cemetery blocks and choose if the new blocks are related to any existing sections.
Lot Tab: This you choose how to name you cemetery lots and choose if the new lots are related to any existing sections or blocks.
Space Tab: This you choose how to name you cemetery spaces and choose if the new spaces are related to any existing sections, blocks, or lots.
**An example of generated naming will display in the “Example” box in the upper right corner of each area you are working in.
**The preview pane to the right of each tab will give you a preview of what the new cemetery areas will look like.
When everything is the way you would like it click the “Generate” button.
Reservation Area
The Reservation area is where cemetery spaces are reserved because they are owned by someone.

When first entering the reservation area if you are looking to add in a new Reserver you may need to click the “Save-Next” button before entering in the new person.
If you are looking to find an existing Reserver to look up information or add to what they have reserved click on the “Find” button.
In the case the reserved spaced is linked to a case the Case Id space above the Reserver will display the Case Id.
Reserved Spaces: Displays a list of all spaces that have been reserved by a specific Reverser.
Space Information: Displays specific information regarding a chosen space in the Reserved Spaces area. This area is also used to enter in for reserving a new space to a Reserver.
Integration with Case Info
The Cemetery module links to the Final Disposition Tab of the Service Information area.

The boxes for entering in the location of the burial are changed to drop-down menus that auto filter to only allowing the select of open spaces for the selected cemetery. Buttons for going to the Reservation area and the Space Setup area will also become available.
**The Reservation button is only available for Pre-needs.
After you choose an open space the system will automatically make the space as used for At-needs and will mark the space as reserved for Pre-needs.
