Deleting Cases

Multiple methods are available to delete cases in MiMS, along with functionality to recover deleted cases if necessary.

Deleting Cases

To delete a case out of MiMS you must first load the case you wish to delete. Once the case has been loaded you have 2 choices on how to delete the case.

First, under the MiMS Menu there is an option at the bottom for “Delete Case” or, you can use the Delete Record button located roughly under the Utilities menu.

**In the event the Delete Record button is not visible hit Ctrl + Shift + D and the button should appear.

In either case after you click on the delete button, you will be given a warning box that once you say “Yes” to, the case will be deleted.

Recovering Deleted Cases

There are times where you may accidentally delete a case you did not mean to delete. In these cases we have a way to recover these cases.

Located under Data Management is an option for Recover Deleted Cases.

When you click on the Recover Deleted Cases button, the Deleted Cases window will open. This window will display all cases that have been deleted, simply find the case(s) you wish to recover, check the box next to them and then click on “Restore” and you are finished.
