Saving and Loading Default Values

MiMS has the capability to store default values for most spaces that you can enter in a value.

Saving Default Values

After typing in the value you wish to save as a default hit the F7 key. I box prompt will display saving that the value is now stored as the default.

**A saved default value does not automatically load when a case is created. MiMS must be told to load the default value.

Loading Default Values

There are 2 ways to load a stored default value.

  1. Loading all defaults at once.
    1. On certain screens in MiMS there is a button labeled “Recall Defaults”. Hitting this button will load all stored default values on all tabs of the screen you are in.
  2. Loading individual defaults.
    1. When in a cell that you wish to load an individual default value for hit the F8 key.
