Case Summary Tab
The case summary tab gives a summarized view of the different case information sections along with options to view tasks, barcode statuses, add obituary links and access the family link section.
The summary tab on a case page will provide you with a quick glance at some basic case information, along with indicators to show how complete each of the sections of case information are.
The circles on the left side of the case information, will indicate how complete that corresponding section is. A full blue circle means that all the information in that section on the case is filled out.
Hovering over one of the sections on the summary will show a pop up containing an expanded view of the information entered on that section. Clicking on one of the sections on the summary view will take you to that page in the client tab to edit the information.
Below the summarized information, options are available to upload a photo via the "Browse For Picture" button. Options are also available to resend the photo to cloud if needed and clear the photo. The photo that is uploaded here will be used as the main photo on the case.
Client forms can also be quick printed from the client forms drop down list below the photo. Simply select a form from the drop down menu and click the print icon on the right side. The "Obituary" and "Other Documents" buttons will take you to the corresponding printed materials tabs for other printing options.
Under the summary tab on the left side, multiple sub tab options are available for the case.
Case Tasks Summary
The tasks tab will show you any tasks that have been assigned on the case. Information like the task name, due date, staff member and date completed will all be displayed in the list. To complete a task, click the checkbox in front of the due date and a time stamp will be added under the "date completed" column to show when the task was marked complete.
Tasks can easily be added or delete on the case by clicking the Add/Delete button in the upper right corner.
After clicking Add/Delete, the task pool window will open up. Tasks can be added to the case task list or removed by utilizing the arrows in the middle of the two windows. Simply highlight a task in one of the sections and use the corresponding arrow to move it in or out of the task list for the case.
Case Barcode Summary
The barcode section of the summary tab shows any recorded barcode scan updates for the case. Each entry will show a scan date, recorded date, location and staff member. Manual entries can also be added on this page via the manual entry option at the bottom of the window.
To enter a manual entry, select a resource option from the resource drop down list and click save to add the entry to the scan list.
Online Materials
The online materials tab allows you to add a memorial or obituary page link to the case. Once a link is added to either section, clicking the globe icon on the right side will open the link in your web browser.
Family Link
The family link section in the case summary tab will show you any family tasks assigned to the case, the obituary supplied by the family and any communication notes added for the family.
Assigned Family Tasks can be added or deleted by clicking the plus and minus icons. Tasks can be marked as completed by clicking the checkbox beside the task.
In the Family Supplied Obituary section, the obituary that the family submitted through Family Link will display.
The communication section will show any communication messages left in the Family Link. To add a message, simply type your message in the box at the bottom and click post. Messages can be marked as read or unread by right clicking on the message.
The virtual files area at the bottom of the page will allow documents and images to be shared between the funeral home and the family.
To upload a file, click the plus icon at the bottom of the window.
The link icon next to a file will enable the file to be shared through family link or removed from sharing through family link.
Documents can be emailed to family members from the virtual files window by clicking the @ symbol at the bottom of the window. This will open up the email window where you can fill out the recipient email addresses and add a message to send with the document.
