The import page in Prospect allows you to important a person from Procession to be a a client in Prospect. This means that family members and friends of a deceased in Procession can be imported as a potential lead in Prospect. There are 3 steps to the import process in Prospect. To navigate to the import page, simply click the Import page link at the top of Prospect.
Choose Your Source
Under the choose your source area, select where you want to import a person from.
- Funeral Home Family Member
- This will be linked to family members or friends on cases in Procession.
- Crematory Next Of Kin
- This will be linked to Family Members or Friends in Phoenix,
- Crematory Pet Owner
- This will be linked to pet owners in Phoenix Pet.
- Cemetery Occupant Relations
- This will be linked to family members associated to a cemetery occupant in InStone.
- Import Data File
- This option allows for you to import a csv file with client details.
When importing from other systems like Procession, options are available to import from existing cases. The "Who are" option lets you select the type of people from a case you want to pull up in the search. The "Cases with last name starting" option is where you can enter the last name of a case in Procession. The family and friends of that case will show up to be imported into prospect.
Options are also available to search the systems by date range or by branch.
Mark Your Selection
Under step 2 you can select which person in the list you want to import. In the list you will see the associated case from the source system, date of death branch, the relation of the person and the persons name.
Set Import Options
Under step 3 you will be able to set import options for the person you are importing. A sales rep can be associated to the person along with a status for the lead.
Tags can be applied to the person from the tag list.
Chain of Events can be added to the person to start tracking tasks and correspondence with the new lead. Options are also available to set how often the due dates will appear for the chained tasks.
Once you have all your options configured for the person you want to import, simply click the import button at the bottom of the page to turn this person into a client in Prospect.
