Resource Setup

Resources can be easily setup under the resource setup section in settings to be used in the resource scheduler feature.

The resource setup tab in settings allows you to configure categories for resources and assign resources to staff or for general use. To access the resource setup tab, navigate to the settings page and click on the resource setup tab.

Once on the resource setup page, a list of categories will be displayed on the left side of the section. These are the categories that are setup for resources to be organized under. Clicking a category will show which resources are currently under that category. To edit categories or add new categories, click the edit categories button in the upper corner.

On the edit category list page, if a category includes staff members, the staff type checkbox can be used to mark the category as staff type. To add a new resource category, simply click the new button and enter a resource category name. Existing resources can be deleted using the delete button and changes should be saved using the save button when you are done.

On the right side of the section, new resources can be added by using the staff resource or general resource buttons. Simply click one of these buttons and enter a resource name to add a resource.

Once a resource is added or if an existing resource is selected from a resource category, various options will display on the right side of the section for assigning the resource. Resources can be assigned to categories using the checkboxes under the category assignment area.

Resources can also be assigned to specific branches in the area below the category assignment. The resource will only be available to the branches that are checked off in this section.
