AI Guestbook Moderation keeps online guestbook safe by automatically detecting and filtering harmful or inappropriate content. It flags issues like hate speech, spam, harassment, graphic or sexual content, and more—ensuring families have a respectful, supportive space for remembrance.
To turn on AI moderation, navigate to the Spam Protection tab under the Obituaries section of your website admin dashboard. On this page, you will see two options available for comment moderation.
Flagged Words is the previous moderation method which uses a library of inappropriate words to filter and flag messages. AI Approve is the new AI moderation tool which relies on AI analysis to flag posts.
Once enabled, the AI tool will run in the background and flag any inappropriate posts for you as they are submitted. Once a post is flagged, it will not post to the tribute wall but will go into your approvals section on the dashboard. This gives you the ability to still manually approve posts incase they were mistakenly flagged.
As you mark posts in your dashboard as blocked, the tool will use these blocked posts to learn over time and become better at flagging future posts.
