The Service Types that are selectable when adding an event to an obituary are customizable via the Service Types section at the bottom of the Settings page under the Obituaries menu option.
Once you are on the Settings page, scroll to the bottom where you will see the Service Types section. This section will show a list of all the Service Types currently in your system.
Editing or Deleting Service Types
To edit the name of an existing Service Type, simply click the "Edit" button beside that Service Type. This will open up the Service Type name at the top of the list where you can change the name and hit the save button to save the newly named Service Type.
If you want to delete a Service Type from the list, simply click the "Delete" button beside the Service Type you wish to delete.
If the Service Type you are deleting has been used previously on any events, you will be asked to replace it with another Service Type. This is to ensure that events on the website using that Service Type have a Service Type to display still after this change.
Adding New Service Types
To add a new Service Type to the Service Type list, click the "Add Service Type" button at the top of the Service Type section.
The Service Type Name bar will open up. Add a name for your new Service Type and click the save button to add it to the list.
**After you make any changes to the Service Types, whether it is adding a new Service Type or editing/deleting an existing one, make sure to click the save button at the bottom of the page to ensure your changes are saved.
