Permission Groups

The permission groups page is where you can customize the permissions that each level of access has enabled.

Permission groups control which sections, features and settings a user has access to in the admin dashboard. Any user set to a certain permission group will have the same access that anyone else in that permission group has. By default the following permission groups exist:

  • Administrator

  • Approvals Only

  • External Administrator

  • Funeral Director

  • Manager

  • No Access

To add a custom permission group click the add new group button at the top of the section. To edit a permission group, click edit beside the permission group you want to edit.

All available website permissions are listed out and broken out into sections that correspond to that permission item. The allow and deny checkboxes on the right side are what will toggle the permission to be on or off for that permission group, permission groups can also be toggle on or off as a whole. The name of the group can be changed at the top of page under the name box.

Once all changes have been made to the permission group, make sure to click the Save Group button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.

Permission Overviews

Dashboard

Approve/Deny Wall posts

    • Allows the user to see condolence approvals pending on the dashboard and gives the ability to approve or deny those condolences.

View Upcoming Visitations

    • Allows the user to see upcoming visitations on the dashboard.

Obituaries

Adjust Obituary Position

    • Allows for the user to see the force to homepage setting on obituaries to change the obituary position on the homepage obituary slider.

Create Obituary

    • Allows for the user to create a new obituary.

Create/Edit/Delete Obituaries

    • Allows for the user to edit and delete existing obituaries in the system and also create a new obituary.

Enable Exit-Pops

    • Allows the user to use the exit pop ups feature.

Manage Locations

    • Allows the user to edit locations in the location library.

Manage Obituary Notification

    • Allows the user to view and make changes to the obituary notification subscribers and settings.

Manage Service Types

    • Allows the user to make changes to the service types in the system.

Manage Settings

    • Allows the user to have access to obituary related settings to make changes.

View Obituaries

    • Allows the user to see obituaries listed under the obituary list tab. This is view only and does not allow for editing of the obituaries.

Website Manager

Change Website Logo

    • Gives the user permissions to change the website logo in the system.

Change Website Template

    • Gives the user permissions to change the website template in the system.

Create New Pages

    • Allows the user to create new pages in the website editor.

Create New Sections

    • Allows the user to create new sections in the website editor.

Delete Pages

    • Allows the user to delete pages in the website editor.

Delete Sections

    • Allows the user to delete sections in the website editor.

Edit Pages/Edit Website

    • Allows the user to edit pages and other website elements in the website editor.

Edit Sections

    • Allows the user to edit sections in the website editor.

Manage Blog Posts

    • Allows the user to access the blog tools page and make changes to blog posts.

Manage Community Events

    • Allows the user to access the events tool page and make changes to events entered in the system.

Manage Merchandise

    • Allows the user to access the merchandise tool page and make changes to merchandise items.

Manage SEO

    • Allows the user to access the SEO settings for pages and make changes.

Manage Subscriber Lists

    • Allows the user to access the 365 Days of Healing subscriber list and make changes to the subscribers.

Manage Testimonials

    • Allows the user to access the testimonials tool page and edit or add testimonials to display on the site.

Manage Website Settings

    • Allows the user to access and make changes to the website related settings.

Turn Website Pages On/Off

    • Allows the user to view and access the setup tab under website manger where pages can be turned on or off.

View Form Submissions

    • Allows the user to view form submissions in the submitted forms tab.

Tribute Store

View Orders and Commissions

    • Allows the user to view the order summary and order reports tabs under the Tribute Store section.

Users

Change Administrative Email

    • Allows the user to make changes to email addresses used on user accounts.

Change Administrative Password

    • Allows the user to make changes to passwords on user accounts.

Create New Employee and User Account

    • Allows the user to create new employees and accounts under the users section.

Create/Edit/Delete Permission Groups

    • Allows the user to alter permissions under existing permission groups or create new custom permission groups.

Delete Employee and User Account

    • Allows the user to delete existing employees from the system.

Edit Employee and User Account

    • Allows the user to edit existing employee accounts in the system.

Manage Administrative Permissions

    • Allows the user to make changes to the permissions on the administrator permission group.

Tribute Pay

Enroll in Tribute Pay

    • Allows the user to enroll in Tribute Pay and set up the account via the Tribute Pay integration tab.

Tribute Pay - Issue Refunds

    • Allows the user to issue refunds for payments in the Tribute Pay tab.

Update Bank Information

    • Allows the user to make changes to banking information connected to Tribute Pay.

View Assignment Funding

    • Allows the user to view assignment funding within the Tribute Pay tab.

View Campaigns Stats

    • Allows the user to view stats on crowdfunding campaigns.

View Crowdfunding

    • Allows the user to view crowdfunding campaigns.

View Payment Center Statements

    • Allows the user to view statements within the payment center.

View Settings

    • Allows the user to view and make changes to Tribute Pay related settings.

View Tribute Loans

    • Allows the user to view and make changes to Tribute Loans.

View Tribute Pay Enrollment

    • Allows the user to view Tribute Pay enrollment status.

System

Full Admin Layout

    • Enables the user to view and have access to the complete administrator layout via their login.

Integrations

Growth Engine Admin

    • Allows the user to access the Growth Engine admin dashboard via the integrations tab on the website.

Billing

View Billing

    • Allows the user to view billing details.
