The Tribute Loans program is available to those using a Tribute site with a Tribute Pay merchant account enrolled. - Applications can be completed online through your funeral home’s website. - The initial screening does not require a credit check. - Multiple lending partners review the application and may provide different loan offers. - If the applicant chooses an offer, they’ll complete the final loan application directly with the lender. ### How Tribute Loans Works - Funds are paid directly to the applicant. Because these are personal loans, the lender disburses the approved loan amount to the applicant, not the funeral home. - Applicants are prompted to initiate an ACH transfer to the funeral home from their loan proceeds. - When a loan amount is paid to the funeral home via ACH transfer, a 4% admin fee is paid to Tribute. ### Viewing Loan Status Once an application is submitted, you can view a summary of the request and its status in **TCO \> Tribute Pay \> Tribute Loans**. Because these are personal loans between the applicant and the lender, only high-level status information is available. If the applicant has questions, they should contact the lending partner directly. ### Frequently Asked Questions **Can the loan be paid directly to the funeral home?** No. Because Tribute Loans are personal loans, lenders disburse funds directly to the applicant. The applicant then is prompted to transfer funds to the funeral home. **What interest rates and terms are offered?** Rates and terms vary by lender, financial standing, and requested amount. Each lender’s offer clearly outlines its terms and rates which are emailed directly to the applicant. **Where is Tribute Loans available?** Families can apply for Tribute Loans in all U.S. states except Connecticut.
