Misc Sales
Misc Sales allow for sales to be entered into the system without being attached to a particular case.
The misc sales page functions very similarly to the financial details page. Any misc sales in the system will be listed out here along with various invoice related information to provide quick insights into the financial information for these sales. The listed sales can be filtered by date range, status, location and purchaser.
To navigate to the financial page of a particular sale, simply click the name on the left side.
A new misc sale can be entered by clicking the create new misc sale link at the top of the page.
Location and Purchaser information needs to be entered first before being taken to the selections page for the sale.
On the next page after selecting a purchaser, you will be able to make any product or service selections for the sale. Items can be searched for in the search bar browsed by the product categories. After selecting an item it will appear under the selected items area.
The details area allow for information like sales dates or a sales number to be added if needed. There is also an option available to link the sale to an existing case and the staff member responsible for the sale will also be displayed here.
A summary of the sale financial details will be displayed at the bottom of the page along with options to save the sale to the system or post the sale.
Just like on case contracts, discounts can also be applied to misc sales from the discounts tab.
Payments can be entered for the sale under the payments tab. Any existing payments on this sale will also be displayed here as well.
Under the adjustments tab, adjustments can be made to the sale or specific line items on the sale. In order to add adjustments to the sale, the sale must be posted.
The refund section allows you to apply refunds to the sale. Any refunds that are on the sale will show under the refunds list near the bottom of the section.
**Refunds applied here only apply to the financial records in TMS. The refund payment still needs to be processed through the payment method.
