Parting Pro Integration

The Parting Pro integration links your Parting Pro Online Planner with TMS, automatically transferring family information between the two systems.

The Parting Pro integration connects your Parting Pro Online Planner directly with TMS, allowing information collected from families in Parting Pro to automatically flow into TMS.

For locations using both systems (Parting Pro and TMS), this integration creates a streamlined workflow from first contact through to financial processing, helping to reduce manual data entry.

How The Integration Works

  1. A family completes an arrangement on your Parting Pro Online Planner
  2. That Parting Pro arrangement is sent into TMS
  3. In TMS, a case is created with:
    • Vital Information
    • Case Details
    • Service Selections
    • Contract and Line Items
  4. Once in TMS, the case behaves like any other case created directly in the system

** Any contracts that are added to the case via the Parting Pro integration will show up in TMS as Unposted Contracts.

Multiple Configuration Options

Multiple options exist for how the integration will function, giving you the ability to choose the most appropriate source of truth for your data depending on the workflow that works best for you.

Option #1: TMS As Source Of Truth

  • Data comes in from Parting Pro once
  • After that, the case and any changes needed are managed in TMS
  • Updates in Parting Pro will not overwrite TMS data
  • Best option if work is primarily done in TMS

Option #2: Parting Pro As Source Of Truth

  • Data continues syncing from Parting Pro into TMS
  • Updates made in Parting Pro will flow into TMS
  • Parting Pro remains your primary system for case updates
  • Best option if work is primarily done in Parting Pro

** Regardless of the configuration option for your source of truth, once a contract is posted in TMS, further updates from Parting Pro will no longer sync.

Sync Behavior: Automatic VS Manual

If you choose Parting Pro as your source of truth, you can decide how data is sent:

Automatic Sync

  • Data is sent to TMS every time a case is saved in Parting Pro
  • Real-time updates

Manual Sync

  • You choose when to send the case to TMS
  • A “Send to TMS” button is available in Parting Pro
  • Useful if you want to finalize details before syncing to TMS

Error handling

If something prevents a case from syncing (for example):

  • Missing or incomplete data
  • Contract already posted in TMS

You will see a notification so that adjustments can be made.
